Thanks, Unfortunately, it an image map on the workbench top. I mapped the top
and facing edge separately. It would be handy to have box mapping as a map_type.

Why yes. :) ...I need to try this.

Does it only work with six pyramids? I have an architectural project I'm working
on...this would be great for wall assemblies/extrusions.

Well - yes - they are "pyramids" in the sense that they are the expansion of the
6 faces of a cube outwards from the center.  Any object textured with this
pattern shows the "shell" at that distance from the center.

If you're familiar with isosurfaces, the analogy would be a different threshold,
or level set, of the function.
