The moment these clouds were seen on the desert planet, intra-dimensional
virtual marketplace world (no idea of the actual name they used for the place),
I thought that should be easy to do in POV-Ray. Well, maybe *easy* isn't the
word for it. I should have known I would have trouble with scattering media, my
nemesis.

If you haven't seen the movie, Valerian: City of 1000 Planets, maybe this will
look okay. Or just weird if you have seen that movie, because I recall the
clouds were subtly done somehow yet color very apparent.

Anyway, I'm fairly sure the blue isn't a good copy from the movie. I couldn't
leave cyan out of it. Not yet anyhow.

I thought of that, but what I did not know is the movie is based on a French
sci-fi comic book series.

Anyway... USA, England and probably wherever else those colors are patriotic
they might attract attention. I was even thinking about other country flag
colors for clouds, would only need to change to those.

I had to wonder if it would distract from the movie action for that reason, but
luckily I was quickly thinking more about recreating clouds with colors myself.
So most of the distraction was for a different reason.

Interesting how during the evening, or dusk just before sunset, I was looking at
real storm clouds varying in color from reddish to bluish too. Well, maybe not
those really vivid colors, but it was almost reds and blues (and white-grays).

I actually have all of these comic books as digitalized PDFs. But when I
read the first of them, well, that is over 25 years ago.

An humoristic sci-fi French comic book series. Valerian and Laureline 
are space and time travellers.
Almost all the names of places, and all those of species are word games. 
If you only have a translation, you'll miss much of the flavour.

I got the sense of something like that from the movie, so I wonder how much it's
like the comic book.
