Have those new features been added to the online wiki yet? If so, I'm not sure
where to look, to find them. (In 'pigments'? In 'lights'?)

No docs yet, except for the GitHub changelog and a post or two on these
newsgroups.

Nice images (some of these are a bit scary...), but really nice,
especially the exteriors.

That might be but I think that photorealism is too demanding on both
time and my abilities. I am more interested in animations. So multiply
the rendering time for a scene by 1500 for each minute of the video. :(

Do you need to find other solutions when PovRay is based on physically
realistic rendering?
IMO It is up to the artist to use the tools as they can. It is not as if
you get drummed out of the club for disagreeing.

As it is in life. I've often used software modules for something other
than what they are intended for. Because it works and is cheaper and
quicker than getting a bespoke module written.

Thank you Bayashi. As you can imagine, it took a long time to do. Many of the
images are overnight renders (intel quad core). I tend to render large images
first (2048x1536), and then reduce for the web.

Thank you Paolo.
