Secret Passages often lead to secret places. Here is a wip of my intended entry
to the actual tc-rtc round. Rendering time was some 37 hours for this one, so I
can only perform minor changes. The image is inspired from my journey to
Cornwall this year (the MudMaid at Heligans and the Men an Tol at Penzance). The
Men an Tol reminds me of an gateway used by a MudMaid to get to her secret
bathing pool, testing the water temperatur with her toe ...

May be I can add the one or other thing, but time is running out.

Hi Michael,

Not sure why you need my moss, the model of the Mud Maid is very good as it is,
I recall seeing her (laying down though if I remember correctly). I also visited
Men an Tol many years ago. I hope you had a good time in Cornwall.

I think if you are going to add something to the scene some small stones on the
sand in the foreground might be good.

Looks nice. Colors seem a bit washed out.

Good work indeed. One small criticism though: The sand/mud on the far 
side of the pool has the same colour as the sky, which gives the 
illusion of transparency and floating vegetation. Just adapt the pigment 
a bit (or the reflection?)

I still played around with your moss in this image (moss on rock-version) but
before publishing the image I felt better to use the opportunity to ask you. May
be it's overkill, but this way I had more control over the placement than using
a fourth texture. It's her bra. And yes, the foreground can use some more
details.

Cornwall was wonderful.

I think you address the same issue. I used a very slight ground fog to dim the
very bright lightsys-sun.

No, no. Silver sand is very prized. It shows that Michael was there.
I agree about the image looking washed out. I often thought that 
Thomas's entries used to have the same look and I would often change the 
gamma, to get a better looking image to my eyes, before voting.

This is another image, in this Challenge,  that depresses me as the 
standard of entries are so good. I despair, ever to to create one of 
this quality.

In the good old times, yes.

If silver sand, then it needs some sandy look I think. Now it looks more 
like mud.
