Cool & a collection of them I see. Your image prompted me to read up -
very impressive machines.

Cool, a big truck. You did a good job. Maybe replace the micra's car of
Jaime's animation.

... and have it do the ramp jump stunt. Yay! :-)
Might also add a load of boulders while we're at it, see if we can make
some big mess...

Great work! did you use the official exporter? if so do you mind if I link to
this image in the exporter's forumgroup at Blenderartists.org? If you used the
exporter, don't hesitate to share your feedback, for any improvement.

Thanks! I did use the built-in exporter (I assume that's the official one).
That'd be great if you post a link there. How to improve the exporter, I would
suggest making the
1) make the materials a separate *.mat file
2) place the color definition of the mesh also in the external *.mat file
These two would help greatly with speeding up tweaking materials manually
because the exported file from this scene is over 500 MB and it takes a while to
find specific areas in the file to change and also to write out the file.

Really great modelling, I have googled a few photos and you have paid excellent
attention to detail. My only criticism would be the tyre tread depth looks too
small, like the tyres are a bit worn down not brand new.
Are you going to texture a dirty version as well?
Sean

Here's the dirty version rendered in Cycles. I'd like to do a Povray version and
compare the results. That'll come eventually.

Thank you!
Very well!
I want to learn duration of a render: in Cycles and in Povray
I don't love Cycles, it isn't capable to work with animation because of a render
of a frame 24 hours

In Cycles, it's about 3 hours 45 minutes.
At this point, it's kind of a pain in the ass to convert the material
definitions over to Povray once I made the Cycles render, so it may be while
before I even get to it with the same scene. Currently working on TC RTC entry
that I hope will be spectacular (can't wait to see what s day and mcgregor come
up with).

At 67Km/h? ...I doubt it would look very interesting. Also, to make it
realistic, it would have to break the exit ramp into pieces! :)

Now that you mention it, that would interesting to try with a pick-up
or a little truck, with the truck bed filled with boxes and cylinders
(maybes wood boxes and oil drums). Thanks for the idea!
