(Wasnt that at least a tiny bit of a witty title?)

Cuz image is made for a webpage of a counter strike tournament.
Thanks to Scott and Alain and every other descent chap who aided me in
finding the correct whisky properties.

Cut out part will be 758 * 250, so only part of the books will show, same
with bottle and desk.

However... the bottle is not casting a shadow! :/ Strange huh?
Hints on that one, as well as other comments are appretiated!

I'm seeing a shadow from the bottle. Look at the outlined area
in the cropped image below.

It's a very nice scene, but I'd prefer if the whisky was darker
brown.

Thanks you. I agree the fluid could be darker.

But the shadow you have marked, is from the kork and the label, not the
bottle.

I think the shadows are correct. thetransparent glass in combination with a
close or large area light will give this effect. You can take the light
further away or make the dimensions of the area light smaller.

Transparent objects cast shadows according to the filter and transparent
values of the pigment. If the glass is 100% transparent, there will be no
shadow.

To get transparent objects to cast shadows, use photon mapping. With photon
mapping, light is diverted (refracted) into caustics, leaving the shadow
behind.
