Hi there,
this is going to be the logo for my website. I will make the golden
wires have a nicier pattern (instead of straight lines).

   Overall, what do you think?

Thanks,
   Xilo

Don't add to much pattern to the golden wires as a logo must be net and the
group of yellow vertical stripes is the most dynamic element of your logo.
So try to keep them gold (may be a bit more shiny).
Also, try to add some brilliance and some glow to the textured black cube as
it you a bit dull (specially in the corner appearing in front).
Last remark, try to do something more simple and net. I like the side of
the cube but not the top.

Advice for a logo : First, render the scene with a transparent background so
that you can an idea of the logo itself (without 3D environment) and make
pictures of different size (as a logo can you look great in large size and
ugly in a small size) and create a small HTML page with all your pictures
(in table with different background color for example) and see how its
look.

I have expressed myself wrong at the start.

The logo is the red square stamped on the CPU.

This is a title image. Which puts the Logo into a 3d context.

I am currently very pleased with the logo.

The 3d scene however needs much more complication, since we only need to
see the logo clearly and the context.

I will add more brilliance to the wires, and I was thinking on making
the wires plug into a green electronic component. I'll possibly put
some fire or smoke somewhere also...

Thanks for your input!

When looking at your picture, I see a very nice render of a blue-print!

I have to admit I was amazed by your reply. Actually, I am indeed
looking to add some living energy to my image, but I am stuck with the
lifelessness of the initial idea.

I was wondering how you could help me find some life into this Boring
Void I have created.

Needless to say that I totally agree with you. Though I still think
there is something to be done and I am left either on the edge of
abandon or at the door of imploration for help at the death-bed of this
idea.

Besides, this idea is not about Art, I experience difficulties to
express what it really is about (since I'm french), and therefore an
artistic sense would be out of topic in this image, I think. I may be
wrong.

Thanks for your reply for it made me think clearly for some time!
