Wow, now it's impressive.
In my personal opinion, the red lights look like parts of certain rocks are
glowing and they look slightly incongruous. Perhaps if one entire rock
glowed, or if they look more like rubies or diamonds with a red light. Just
an idea.

That would'nt be that tough. I could place wave origins
so to make the outline of object going through it. I'm
working on a render with atmospheric media. I've got a
crummy computer so it won't be before a couple of days :-)
Of course, I would have to have good poser {wo}men or
maybe funny little gray aliens. Anyone got some of theses?

Very nice. I agree with Hershel, though, on the glows. Also, it looks like the
lit stones don't line up with the gate properly, or at least not consistently.
Is this intended?
BTW, Stargate was the inspiration for an IRTC entry that didn't make it (I never
finish in time). Perhaps I'll post it here soon.
