The rendering time was below 48 hours for 256 frames. I used 2 passes : one
for the saving of the radiosity infos at low resolution and one for the
final rendering with aa on.

Thank you for your reply.

The files are available again.

What hardware are you rendering on?

You know you've been raytracing too long when you hate games, but you
buy Riven just to look at the pictures.

I use a notebook with a Pentium M 760 2GHz with 1 Go of RAM.
It is up to 2 times quicker in PovRay than my PC with a P4 3.2 GHz !

Any chances of releasing your liquid simulator? Very impressive simulations

Amazing.

Hi, Fidos, Can you provide some references on the simulation methods you
have used in your animation, such as the free suface and the two phase
treatment.

Thank you.

Really Amazing.

Hi, Fidos, Can you provide some reference on the simulation methods you used
to handle the free surface and interactions between two fluids? Thank you.

The release of a simulator is a target for me. Thank you.

Some ideas of my implementation is comming from a paper of Frank Losasso
Petterson (http://graphics.stanford.edu/~losasso/). A good source of
reference for fluid simulation with the use of the level set method is the
web site of Ron Fedkiw (http://graphics.stanford.edu/~fedkiw/).

Regrads,
Fidos.
