High!

After some two and a half months of rendering, I finally got my latest
animation of Ghurghusht together - watch it at
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qyN0zwTW0xU

Note that the camera is actually on the surface of the rotating
isosurface planet, while the sky is standing still! Credits go to Bruno
Cabasson for the atmosphere system and to Christoph Hormann for the water.

can't help to notice the environment is very bland and lacking detail and still
the render render is very noisy in the shadows.

Yes, it's still a very early and crude version of Ghurghusht; later on,
there will be buildings (especially on the island in the lake, where I
plan to construct Kandabul, Ghurghusht's capital) and vegetation elements.

The noisy render results from poor control of accuracy - I didn't find
out the optimal settings yet, so next step will be two animations of the
same scene at dawn and afternoon, each with logarithmically decreasing
accuracy values.
