this is part of my first IRTC entry (I hope I finish it)
I have downloaded old include file by Teresa Williams
I have removed discontinuity bug from it
I have rebilded include to modern macro
I have replaced #declares with #locals
and first version of walking macro is ready
it returns control points for clock-phase of step
now I want built macro for start and finish of walking
and built it into BlobMan
than I publish code
in example I use motion blur
cyclic switch was off but loop it
any comments ?

Very nice, but the stickman is stiff. I read an article in game developer
about a natural walking bi-ped animation. If I remember corectly, you will
need to roll the foot during the animation a little more, more bend to the
knee, it needs hips that pivot/swivel (yes even with males), and the upper
torso needs to move to the swinging of the arms.
If I can find the article I will scan and upload some of the diagrams.

This is better I found the article. It is about charactor modeling. It talks
about making the model better for animation.

I think the motion blur makes critique of the cycle more difficult.

Also, please let us know just how easy it is to add features of swinging
shoulders, etc., to BlobMan. I've been working on my own exceptionally
limber model--limber but ugly--and want to know just how little a
contribution I'm making to raytracing in so doing.

Grr, my Media Player 6.4.09.1109 doesn't even start the animation. the
Xing player does, and now I wonder what you used for animating??
