Cornell box images from original MegaPov, modified MegaPov and WinPovRay
3.5b6. Also attached is the scene file.

Mike,

I found these images very interesting... I especially found it interesting
that the 3.5b6 image didn't show artifacts in the edges. I'm interested in
finding out which modification removed these artifacts (though I have a
guess). Was there any difference in settings between the MegaPov and 3.5b6
images?

If I remember correctly all I did was comment out the '#version' and
'ini_option' lines to run the scene under v3.5b6. I don't think anything
else was changed.

Under v3.5b6 and original MegaPoV the radiosity artifacts tend to show
up more with a low error_bound and low recursion, especially with
certain pathological scenes such as those with regular alternate light
and dark areas.

Bye for now,
	Mike Andrews.

PS: if you'd like to see the changes I made I could send you the
modified 'radiosit.c' - the changes are all in the 'ra_gather' function.
