I have made fli animations before
but I am new to mpeg.

What I need to know is things like:
Which options does mpeg have?
What is the differences between mpeg1 mpeg2
and others if any?
How can I choose between 8bit and 24bit
colors (if possible)?
How can I add sound (if possible)?

I also need some general advise such as:
Which options should I use for which purposes?
Which options should I use so
most people can view it?

thanks,

There are links to the different format specifications (including mpeg1
and mpeg2).
