Sorry another story that's been buried under the Green story, private
companies are by-passing things like Criminal Records Checks to get
information. All they have to do is fill in a form from the DVLA with your
licence plate and state that you were illegally parked - et voila the DVLA
sends back to them your name, address, car details etc.
