Other groups discussing about HTML exist on Usenet. I cannot
recommend any to you (unless you speak French), but if you want to
hear the reasons why HTML pisses off people, then go there.

Not only, of course. But when you speak (I mean, speak, with your
mouth and tongue and all), even when you speak words of pure and
infinite wisdom, you're not surprised to get flamed if every other
word you say is "fuck" or "shit" or "damned bastard". Or some kind of
a dialect that only uses some English words and is ununderstandable
besides them. You can't expect people to applause when you say "now
everybody shall speak Irish". Ever been to Ireland? They think they
speak English, but it's not *quite* understandable for non-Irish.
(Their readheads are lovely, though :-) HTML is a question of form,
not content. Content is free. Form is there to maximise
readability. Not to maximise blinks and flashes and colours.

Roland.
