Ok, I figured out using media a little better. (I just made them almost
completely opaque to hide my terrible use of media in the first post)
For now I am just using a completely clear pigment and 'hollow on' with
'absorbtion <3.7,4.0,4.0>' for the black pieces and 'emission
<3.0,3.0,3.3>' for the whites. I tried changing other options in the
media, but took them out cause I had no idea what I was doing :P. I am
fairly satisfied with this look, at least enough to wait until I finish
modelling the rest to tweak it more. I attached what I have now.
