This would help, but the present format would still deter me from using it. I prefer
something I can download and browse in my own time and at a sensible speed. One way
might
be to have an index of categorised pages of 640x480 jpg's tiled with small samples of
numbered textures to get a rough idea. Each jpg page would have an associated page of
textual description. Then just a complete list of index numbers linked to the actual
textures.

If I came up with what I thought was an original and useful texture, sure.
