Check in PVENGINE.INI that there is an entry in 
[General] that has an entry like
SecondaryINIFile=C:\GRAPHICS\POV-RAY FOR WINDOWS V3.5\renderer\quickres.ini 

SecondaryINISection=[800x600, AA 0.3]

Access to PVENGINE.INI can be found in the Tolls menu
