For most wikis it is good to have a clearly defined 'unit of
information' it is based on. This helps to structure the information.
For example wikipedia has the unit of the article which can be cross
referenced, put into article groups with an index page etc. In a link
collection this unit obviously should be the link (with annotated
information) which is a comparitively small unit. With this a link can
be part of several categories (Blender for example could be in
'modelers', 'renderers' and 'free tools').
