You can do it manually IIRC.

In any Directory window, select View->Folder Options->File Types.  And 
then select the .mdl file type, click edit, select the open option in the 
lower pane of the window, select edit again, and change the 'application 
used to perform the action' field to :

C:\PROGRA~1\MORAYF~1\MORAYWIN.EXE "%1"

Changing the path to the executable to whatever is appropriate on your 
system, of course.  You can also change the description of the file type 
in the initial edit window too.

Oh, and this really should have gone in moray.win, which is where any 
followups will go :)
