DON'T reply to their email... CALL THEM!
Even if you just get a hold of the wrong department... start chatting it
up with those guys! Be friendly with them and, if they like you, you've
got an immediate advantage over anyone else who's applying! (Many
companies, including my own, offer cash incentives if an employee
recommends a friend who ends up getting hired, so there's good reason
for them to recommend good people).
