In my previous employment at a small software-firm with no design-department
(or budget :-) whatsoever, I used my hobby and POV-Ray to create
presentation images and animations as well as images for documentation and
software splash-screens.

I expect to be using POV-Ray at my current work too, but unfortunately I can
not talk about that...
