I recently started on spectral rendering fan art of one of Trevor G
Quayle's images, and decided I wanted a brighter red than I could get
with MakeSpectrum's "natural" spectral curves.

I decided to tag this update to MakeSpectrum as version 1.2, even though
v1.1 was still in the release candidate stage.  But while reworking the
blue-to-red hues, I discovered that the code for the purples reflected
some outdated pre-1.0 trials that I had somehow skipped updating before
releasing v1.0.  So I made that correction in v1.1, and called that the
final release.

Meanwhile, I figured working on two versions simultaneously would be a
good opportunity to familiarize myself with git branches and pull
requests.  (As you may recall, battling the git learning curve has been
like scaling Yosemite's El Capitan for me.)  So far, I haven't trashed
the repository.  Version 1.2 is in beta at:
