That wikipedia text is um not quite right either.
I was pretty sure we owned Erector, at least during some point between 
1982-1984.
Plus, we started the video games department from scratch inside of the 
CBS Technology Center (A geek's dream) in Stamford, CT [1] before moving 
to the Fawcett Building in Greenwich CT.  Maybe one or more of the 
invisible VPs (CBS has lots of those) came from Gabriel Toys but there 
was definitely no technology transfer.
