Yes, Let me look at it tomorrow, I have one map that really work, that
one looks like the right one, but I need to check the file on the other
computer.

The map for type 1 is typically platecarrée. (which is equirectangular),
even if the ratio is actually irrelevant, because povray put everything
in 0..1 range for both coordinates. At least it gives the same
resolution at the equator for both direction.

But Robinson is round on the sides, So the comments are suspect.
