Well, this is just a first try out. I like it myself although the 
metallic part of the texture may not be that obvious indeed.

I have different ways to go indeed.

That is more difficult. The existing model's macros are already rather 
complicated and I don't see any direct way to do that. It would mean 
building a new model from scratch.
