The source is from github and hasn't been modified.

Povray has been build using:

cd ~/Downloads/povray-master/unix/
./prebuild.sh
cd ..
./configure --prefix=/home/thh/POV_Master COMPILED_BY="ThH 
<no.spam@address>" LIBS="-lboost_system -lboost_thread"
make check install

No extra configure options.

 From my point of view I'd say it's clean.

I could provide the output of the build process...
