How did you get the pps value ?

              using 15 thread(s) with 2.981 CPU-seconds total
  Radiosity Time:   No radiosity
  Trace Time:       0 hours  2 minutes 21 seconds (141.397 seconds)
              using 12 thread(s) with 1657.760 CPU-seconds total


icpc (ICC) 13.0.1 20121010, povray from master head at 9 June 2014.
i7 980X (6c/12t, 3.33 GHz):
