What to do is, wait until you have a favourable exchange rate. That is 
what I did.
I started off with a free copy of Poser from a PC magazine then 
downloaded a free copy of Poser 4 (I think) which enabled me to upgrade 
at a discount.
I had not noticed that Pro 2012 had Background Rendering.
