There are some crutial differences between 3.5 and 3.7, mostly to comply
with Windows Vista and Windows 7 folders access restrictions.
With version 3.5 and 3.6 running in a pre-Vista environment, all scene
files and ini files where located in subfolders under the main POV-Ray
folder. This cause broblems as recent Windows versions silently redirect
write operation to those locations.
Your architectural programm, expecting the obsolete access right, will
place scene and associated ini files in the older locations.
Version 3.7 expect all editable files to be located in a POV-Ray folder
situated in your My Documents folder.
Your programm can successfully start POV-Ray V3.7, but will probably
fails at rendering the scene. That is, unless it allow you to sellect
where the scenes files are writen.
The fact that this architectural programm comes with version 3.5 bundled
in is a indication that it's probably some 10 years old as version 3.6
was published IICR around 2001. It may be worth checking if there is a
more recent version available.
