I upgraded KDE from 4.4.3 to 4.4.4. Restarted. White desktop with red X's 
everywhere. WTH?

I join #debian-kde to ask for help, and first thing I see in the topic is 
"KDE is broken in testing, do not upgrade until bug #585751 is closed!"
