All my complaints were predicated on "without a real computer to connect it 
to."  You can't import music into the itunes library on the iPad, from what 
I can tell. You would have to import it into iTunes on a laptop then sync it 
to your iPad.

I would also suspect without evidence that music you bought on the iPad 
iTunes client wouldn't sync to any other device, for that matter.
