VHS, because it actually had the playing time people wanted.

Guess what? People use wireless instead of wired ethernet, even tho wired 
ethernet is at least twice as fast and possible 20x depending on which kind 
of wire you use.  Don't you hate when these crappy products like wireless 
networking win out over real speed?
