Had an old HP oscilliscope sitting in storage, think it was about $5 USD
when I got it. Scrap sales, surplus, and so on; universities get rid of
rid of stuff at auction around here. Lots of goodies, dirt cheap. Ya
don't have to be old to use old hardware.

Who ever I was storing it with tried to power it up, and threw it out
when it didn't work. Or sold it at a profit.
