I'm not sure... I do not have any form of thermal ACPI module or whatever
loaded or active, it is just the stock Fedora Core 11 kernel on a quite old
motherboard (Intel 945PL-S3). I checked temps when the machine was
rendering for a few hours over the weekend, everything was fine (CPU core
temp amout 55 deg C at full rendering load.)

Anyway, it might be something to look into. Only happened once so far,
fortunately. Maybe its just time for a new PC.
