The article claims it's named after a town.
Given that there's a dance move called a New York, and another called an
American spin, that's not so surprising I guess.
Remind me to never *ever* miss 3 dance classes in a row ever again... I
turned up again afterwards, and they're like "OK, now let's do this
dance", and I'm like "WTF is a Botafogo?! HELP!"
