Hi Ray,

The mention of 'Templates' had me concerned too. I wonder whether you've 
actually got yourself some other application that supports rendering using 
POV-Ray. If so, you may possibly not have yet downloaded and installed 
POV-Ray itself. If this is the case you can easily get a copy free from 
http://www.povray.org/download/#binaries.
