Or they do like what many non-Americans do:  Argue interminably without 
persuading the other side.

They want you to stop blathering; that's not the same as wanting you 
silenced.

And don't compare yourself to Jesus.  That gets you even less sympathy 
from Christians than it will from non-Christians.
