Acer.co.uk claims it takes 800MHz DDR2 SODIMMs.

Well, yeah. But if it really is Italian, I *will* be sending the bugger 
back! ;-)

(Note that the advisor I spoke to isn't a sales advisor. Whether I buy 
the laptop or not makes no difference to his stats.)
