Ah... the long lost SDL project... heh. I never did get anywhere with 
that one! Maybe I should revisit it?

Interesting thing: That page contains a silly half-arsed setup for 
implementing get and set functions. Well you know what? There's now a 
library on Hackage which works almost exactly the same way. Apparently 
I'm not the first person to have thought of this!

I still think making a scene description language in Haskell would be 
quite interesting. Of course, given the size of my "unfinished projects" 
collection, it's unlikely to go anywhere soon. ;-)
