Unfortunately, I don't know any of the languages involved. (With the 
possible exception of C++.) Otherwise I might be tempted to port this 
myself. Still, if you wanted to write it in Haskell, you'd have to 
radically restructure it anyway, so it probably wouldn't mean much... 
Still, a JavaScript version could be interesting.
