Consider A Bug's Life, and its clone, Antz. In absolute fairness, not
much difference between them from a technical standpoint. But in terms
of entertainment...? Well... Antz is *almost* a good movie. It seems to
have most of the right stuff. But... for some reason, it's *not* a good
movie. It's a mediocre movie. I'm not sure why, but it just doesn't work
very well.
Still, better than anything I'll ever produce, so maybe I should just
shut up and let my PC finish rendering Lissajous curves...
