Heh, sure. This nurse is the same one who did my ECG a few weeks ago. 
She's quite friendly and chatty.

My dad did clinical trials. (I.e., they inject you with random chemicals 
to see what happens - if anything.) His arm is like a pin cushion! 
There's so much scare tissue they have to use the other arm now... (He's 
also a blood donor. Or he was - not sure if he still is.)

My mum always ends up getting multiply stabbed while they try to find 
something vein-like. I guess because of the 6 inches of blubber under 
her skin? :-P

Well... animal fat of some description. My dad says it's worst when it's 
the morning sample, and the person has just had a full English 
breakfast. ;-)

I don't know, but yeah, that's FRICKIN' HUGE! She wanted a home birth - 
and indeed, *had* one - but she had so much difficulty ejecting the 
thing they nearly had to take her to hospital.

It was a girl as well...
