Frequency makes different sections indistinguishable.

To make the segments different colors, you need to use the map.

For example, if the map is from 0 to 1 around the circle, and you want 12 equal
segments, you:

[1/12 pigment1]
[1/12 pigment2]
[2/12 pigment2]
[2/12 pigment3]
[3/12 pigment3]
[3/12 pigment4]

etc.
