Petrol lawn mowers, as well as not needing a cable, are usually much more
powerful, so you can charge through quite long wet grass that likely would
block up an electric one.

A friend of ours borrowed our electric hedge cutter, she cut through cord.
Then she borrowed it again, and we joked to her about not cutting through it
again. Of course she cut through it *again*. She can go and buy her own
one now.

Erm, the whole time actually, but the consequences aren't nearly as bad,
plus it's a pain in the ass having to rearrange the cable and keep
plug/unplugging it the whole time as you move around the house, getting it
tangled around chairs/tables etc.
