Ehh.. Vista's worked pretty well at home. I have to admit I do like some
of the new features introduced to the shell. Though one thing that threw
me off was the fact that any new game installed on Vista that has been
written for Vista does not install in the start menu like everything
else. It gets installed in a special "virtual folder" called Games.
(Which is sort of neat, it gives ESRB ratings, your machine's rating
alongside the game's minimum and recommended ratings.) But, for those of
us who have gotten used to the mantra that all programs be installed
under the start menu, including games, its really counterintuitive. I
actually wound up making a direct shortcut to the exe of one game,
before I realized it was probably under the games item.
