I immediately assumed the sign was just above head height, which fixed the 
size of the room for me.  Anyway, the wall looks very crumbly, would be easy 
enough to dig out some toe-shaped holes and climb up the wall, then pull 
yourself up through the hole.  For more of a challenge, try moving the hole 
away from the side wall, or put something there to prevent people climbing 
up the wall or getting through the hole.
