We've had this discussion before. It doesn't take a hyper-nerd to get
info out of a dump file. Just a good debugger and access to the source
code.
As for confidential data being leaked, the core file typically will
contain just the crashed program info, but if it's reproducible, you send
them a core from a simplified setup.
