And you get the obvious response of "why not?"

I used POV-Ray to make the trees in the Petrified Orchard Valley, and to 
position them, to make the height fields for the mountains in the 
background, to make the terrain and trees in other animations, and to 
make and place the stars in the background of those animations with a 
night sky.
