Feels good, doesn't it?
I think I've sold something like 8 times in all the years my gallery has
been up. (Not including all the stuff I solve to myself yet still earned
royalties and referrals on...)
I hypothesize that only a small number of galleries on Zazzle produce
any significant income. I mean, my gallery is basically a bunch of
Mandelbrot zooms. Wanna take a guess how many others just like it there
are out there? Hint: lots. I think you really have to stand out if you
seriously want to be noticed.
OTOH, many of my most popular products are ones that I myself didn't
think were very good... From this, we can draw two possible conclusions:
1. I have no sense of taste at all.
2. Everyone has different tastes - and therefore almost anything will
appeal to *somebody*.
I don't see these options as muturally exclusive.
PS. Don't you hate it when you have to explain to an apparently well
literate adult what "muturally exclusive" means?
